We’re introducing a new page at The Energy Collective today and we’d like to invite all of you all to be part of it. It’s called The Hippodrome and it’s a place for public discussion of issues that have an impact on climate change and environmental issues. This will remain a private back channel but there are some many great discussions here that we want to encourage those of you who want to get your ideas heard by a wider audience to share them at The Hippodrome also.
You can join the conversation in two ways: comment directly beneath individual posts or click on Leave a Comment (first link in the main navigation bar) and write your own entry of whatever length you want. If you aren’t already a member of The Energy Collective, you’ll need to register the first time you visit and log in on subsequent visits. You can also upload a headshot to the My Profile link and your picture will accompany your comments–just like the handsome Mr. Sklar, who has kindly volunteered to be our featured referee of the month. The page is here:
If you don’t see your comment right away, it just means that our editor hasn’t approved it yet. Check back a little later. If you have any questions about how to register or use the site or upload your picture, send a note to my partner firstname.lastname@example.org.
