Matt Stanberry is the Director of Industry Analysis and oversees AEE's analytical efforts and the development of information describing the advanced energy industry, its businesses, and related policies and regulations. Matt is an energy expert covering the industry as well as its environmental and public health impacts. Before joining AEE in 2011, Matt was a management consultant in the energy industry at Navigant, where he conducted strategy and implementation work, including market assessments, economic impact reports, project procurements, project financing analyses, and technology cost and performance studies. His clients included developers, utilities, investment banks, manufacturers, trade associations, state energy offices, nongovernmental organizations. Prior to his work at Navigant, Matt worked for ICF International addressing energy, climate, and other environmental/public health issues primarily for EPA. His efforts included methodology development for the U.S. Greenhouse Gas Inventory, greenhouse gas marginal abatement curve modeling, and hazardous air pollutant emissions standard setting. He holds a BA from Duke University and a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University.
